Ultra Blue PVCO pipe, the highest-performing, lightest-weight, most cost-effective pressure pipe for potable water and force main systems, is JM Eagle exclusive technology at its strongest.

Molecularly oriented for a wall that’s four times stronger than conventional PVC at half the thickness, it also features a larger interior diameter for improved performance. With a higher cyclic fatigue strength and greater impact strength, Ultra Blue is pressure tough, crush resistant, non-corroding, durable and leak-resistant. It delivers HDB of 7,100 psi vs. HDB of 4,000 psi of conventional PVC pipe.

Because of its smooth wall, light weight and larger interior diameter, Ultra Blue reduces energy needed for pumping, maintains its excellent hydraulic properties for extremely low maintenance costs; makes installation easy and less expensive, reduces friction loss and increases the pipe’s performance, and requires minimal energy to produce for a carbon footprint less than half that of ductile iron.

Nearly 100 million feet of PVCO pipe have been installed in North America, and JM Eagle is the only manufacturer of PVCO in the United States.

Ultra Blue meets pressure class 235 and 165 psi for CIOD AWWA C909-09 and pressure rating 200 psi for IPS ASMT F1483.
