JLG manufactures three telehandlers exclusively for the United States military: the ATLAS, ATLAS II, and Millenia Military Vehicle (MMV). These highly maneuverable, rugged material handlers are engineered for a variety of demanding military applications such as combat operations, logistics support, ammunition and supplies handling, and rescue operations.
The ATLAS and ATLAS II are built to reach into trucks or shipping containers, lift loads over obstacles, and pick up loads from both above and below grade. Loads of up to 10,000 pounds can be lifted as high as 17 feet. These rugged material handlers were made to transport your materials through uneven terrain such as snow, mud, sand, and water.
Built to support the U.S. Marine Corps, the MMV reaches into trucks or shipping containers, lifts loads over obstacles, and picks up loads from both above and below grade. With its four-wheel drive, frame leveling, and its turbo-charged engine, the MMV is made to go through uneven rugged terrain, including snow, mud, sand, and water. The MMV provides three steering modes in order for you to maneuver in tight spaces: crab steer, 4-wheel, and 2-wheel.
The EIRV (Engine Installation & Removal Vehicle) is the premier telescopic vehicle specifically designed to support aircraft engine maintenance. With rugged structuring for a versatile response, the EIRV obtains a 29 ft horizontal extension, and 41 ft vertical extension along with a substantial 6,000 lb operating load capacity.
