American Highway Products Ltd. manhole riser is used to reduce cost and streamline the adjusting of utilities to the new grade when paving. When installed, its unique pivoted turnbuckle linkage ensures a pressed in bearing fit. This pressed in bearing fit enables installation before paving the road. The Pivoted Linkage will contract and expand the Manhole Riser ½”, giving a full 1” diametric variance, thus allowing the flexibility to work on different diameter frames. The risers start at ¾” rise and increase in ¼” increments. This method saves time and money to adjust the utilities to grade. Depending on location and number of adjustments done, a typical frame adjustment cost $400.00 each. Utilizing a Pivoted Turnbuckle Manhole Riser will save over 75% of the cost of adjusting utilities.
