Tank Industry Consultants was founded in 1979 to provide professional engineering and inspection services to the water storage tank industry. More than 40 years later, we continue to provide these services without any desire to obtain contracts for tank repair or repainting, or to sell materials.

Unlike most engineers or inspection companies that have only limited experience on tank projects, TIC has successfully completed of over 10,500 tank projects. TIC’s staff brings engineering, management, and administrative experience from the contrac-tor’s, engineer’s, and owner’s points of view. Our management and support personnel include individuals who have had many years of experience with large tank fabricators. Several of our field technicians were paint and erection crew foremen, and many are NACE Certified Coatings Inspectors. In all, the staff of TIC has over 750 years' experience in the storage tank industry.
