Operations that create large amounts of wastewater, such as sewer bypasses, construction and mining, will find a very effective and efficient pump in Thompson’s JSC portable pump series. The pumps are designed for applications that require processing fluid with large solids at a significant flow and pressure.
Thompson high pressure pumps are equipped with a cast iron casing, impeller, and stress proof steel shaft for long-lasting durability. They also have stainless steel shaft sleeves and a replaceable cast iron wear ring that assists in priming the pump. The stainless steel allows the pumps to handle caustic and high temperature fluids better than standard pumps. These pumps are capable of handling solids up to 4 inches in diameter, of flows up to 11,000 GPM, and heads of 660 feet - for versatility in any industrial, mining or construction application.
Thompson high pressure pumps are designed with the unique Enviroprime® compressor-assisted priming system. The system allows for automatic dry priming and ensures that none of the pumped fluid escapes the pumping system and goes back into the environment. This eliminates unwanted blow-by from contaminating the project area.
The pumps are available in 3 inch through 18 inch. Other options include site trailer and Thompson control panel with automatic start/stop and float systems for unattended pumping.
