Significant forces are helping to shape emerging healthcare models, particularly in outpatient venues. We believe four drivers in particular—technology, personalized medicine, patient engagement and community-centric healthcare delivery—will result in more care and a higher acuity of cases being pushed into ambulatory settings. We work with our health system partners to address the space implications of this change, including the collocation of clinics, clinical research, education, programs, diagnostics and ancillaries to change the nature of required spaces as integrated practices come on-line.
