GeoLynx Server, GeoComm's Web-based tactical dispatch Geographic Information System (GIS), is a dispatch mapping system propagated across a public safety network. Authenticated users view a Common Operating Picture (COP) of the jurisdiction's geography and public safety activity. This system enables the display of dynamically changing events such as 9-1-1, CAD calls for service, and Automatic Vehicle Locations (AVL) to all authenticated users. Users are able to create and share user drawn markups and annotation on top of a high-level of detail GIS base maps. Secure Web browser-based access eliminates the need to install software or download large GIS data set to each client workstation.
